This two day workshop will introduce you to the fine art of using both soft and hard pastels,
with a focus on how to produce images that show light at it's best. Day one begins with a step-by-step demo using a still life set up, where the tutor will go over the detail of how to plan your composition and how exactly soft and hard pastels should be applied, use of colour and light will also be discussed. Each student will be provided with an easel, extra paper will be available to purchase should you need more. Day two will be a continuation with a second still life and an opportunity for those that wish to venture outside, have a go at sketching in the mansion gardens.
