This course is designed to get the most from your digital SLR covering camera operations, composition and framing, lighting techniques with available light and flash, on location and in the studio, finishing with simple enhancements using Adobe Photoshop.

How to’s and hints and tips are offered throughout the six weeks. This course will be brought to you by Lawrence Woolston an experienced local professional photographer
of 20 years experience and more.

Week One: Camera operations dealing with white balance, ISO speeds, depth of field, working with Auto and Manual options.

Week Two: Composition. Framing. Thinking about the frame in you camera. Shooting
and review of images taken.

Week Three: Lighting. Available light V Flash. Shooting using various lighting techniques. Shooting and review of images taken.

Week Four: Studio lighting. Creating moods with simple lighting set ups. Shooting
and review of images taken.

Week Five: Looking at what makes a great photograph. Get out and about. Shooting
and review of images taken.

Week Six: Review of previous five weeks. Enhancements and improvements using
Adobe Photoshop. Considering printing and viewing options. Finishing an image.
