We're very pleased to be offering this fun and creative workshop with textile fine artist Karen Ward. Whether you have never sewn before or dabbled a little, it doesn't matter,
you can make your textile doodles as simple or embellished as you like.

You will design your creations, select your fabrics, buttons, threads etc. When you are ready you can mark out the designs and begin cutting and sewing. Throughout the day Karen will demonstrate techniques and assist with ideas. You can make as many doodles as you like, perhaps a whole family!

N.B Although some fabrics are available on the day, we encourage a trip along to your
local fabric shop there is Fabric8 in Felixstowe or Franklins in central Ipswich they have
a good selection pick of ribbons, gold threads and lovely fabrics.

Many of our delegates like to bring their own sewing machine as they know their way around it, Karen can also help you get the most out of your machine if your unsure what some of the buttons do. Otherwise we can provide a sewing machine.

Parking is right nextdoor to the Reg Driver centre so easy for carrying your bits and bobs.
